Qadian: The 123rd International Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) Qadian volunteers duties begin today with prayers in Ahmadiyya Ground where nearly one thousand volunteers were gathered at 10:30 am for official ceremony known as 'Muaina Karkunan' or Volunteers' Inspection.
Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori, Chief Secretary Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian, inspected the groups of various Jalsa Salana departments lead by their representatives in the Ahmadiyya Ground.
Maulana Ghori instructed the departments about duties saying that Jalsa Salana Qadian foundation was laid down by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, founder of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community.
"Jalsa is not like a fair," said Inam Ghori. "It is totally religious program where we learn the real teachings of Islam and Ahmadiyyat."
After the silent prayers led by the chief secretary Jalsa Salana, volunteers' duties began officially.
According to Chaudhry Abdul Wasay Chatta, Deputy Secretary Ahmadiyya Jamaat, nearly 3700 Jalsa Salana participants from Pakistan have already reached Qadian.
The Border Security Force, immigration authorities and Police are cooperating with the Ahmadiyya community, Chatta further said.
The community volunteers have been deployed in the different part of Qadian for security purpose and volunteers are also patrolling on the motor cycles.
The 123rd Jalsa Will commence on 26th December and will conclude 28th December.
