The delegation asked questions about distinctions of Ahmadiyyat Islam in Japan, Muslims life in Japan, Islamic dress for women, reasons behind separation of genders, student life of Japanese Muslims and how Islam responds to contemporary issues.

A delegation of seven prominent educators from Toyo University, Aichi Univeristy, Chiba University, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, visited the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's Bait-ul Ahad Mosque for their study and research about Muslims in Japan.
Among the visitors were Professor Masayuki Akutsu, Faculty of Regional Development Studies, Toyo University; Professor Suzuki Norio, Aichi University, faculty of political philosophy; Professor Dr. Aoki Takenobu, Chiba University; Professor Ishomuddin Sulaiman, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang; Professor Akio Kashimura, Aichi University, faculty of literature; Professor Dr. Vina Salviana S,M.SI, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang; and Mr Tonny Dian Effendi, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Department of International Relations.
Imam Anees Ahmad Nadeem of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said their outreach efforts in Japan have been ongoing since 1935.
Imam Nadeem explained that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the leading Islamic organization to categorically reject terrorism in any form and Ahmadiyya Muslims emphatically declare that an aggressive “jihad by the sword” has no place in Islam. It is also the only muslim organisation to endorse the separation of mosque and state.
"We strongly believe that Japanese nation will embrace Islam, God willing," said Imam Nadeem, further acknowledging that "this is our huge responsibility to show the reality and wisdom of Islam to Japanese people."
"Islam teaches us to have love and respect for others and as Muslims we are required to love our country of residence," Imam added. "Wisdom and Beauty of Islamic teachings should be presented in Japanese language."
"Our beloved prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the most peaceful person in Mecca and Medina," Imam Nadeem emphasized to the visiting intellectuals.
Explaining about women in Islam, Imam Nadeem said that in true Islamic teachings, women enjoy very high status, far better than what is afforded by other religious scriptures. Islamic teachings emphasize on the education of women, and as followers of Islam, Muslims societies, in theory, are required to afford women all opportunities to reach their full potential.
