I am a young Muslim man who recently traveled overseas to visit the Khalifa of Islam. Unlike some other young Muslim men who travel to join ISIS and learn to spread violence in the name of Islam, I learned to spread the peaceful teachings of Islam.
I travelled with 200 of my fellow Muslim brothers of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association from across the United States, to London, England, to visit the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mizra Masoor Ahmad. He advised us to return with a message to encourage people to establish a relationship with their God. He advised us to proactively share the true, harmonious teachings of Islam to the people of America. He himself has spoken at many places, like the US Capitol Hill, urging leaders toward reconciliation and rejecting injustice.
We have taken this advice and have started “Stop the CrISIS” events across the country, aimed at conveying the correct teachings of Islam. Unlike the Caliph of ISIS who desires bloodshed and havoc, this leader desires peace and harmony.
