Paraguay: Ahmadiyya Muslim community seeks to establish mission

In a meeting this morning with executive director of Humanity First Guatemala, David Gonzalez, and the National President of the Muslim community worldwide Ahmadiyya Guatemala C.A., Abdul Sattar Khan, they pointed out that "the international Islamic community seeks to settle in Paraguay".

Both interviewees noted that the International Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has a presence in over 200 countries. They came to Paraguay "to conduct a comprehensive study on the legal guidelines for their establishment in the country."

They stressed that it is "a pacifist community and good carrier of conciliatory message of Islam, which has a non-religious and humanitarian organization established in 43 countries."

They reported that these humanitarian tasks have to do with educational, medical and social projects.

They cited for example that have built schools and hospitals, to benefit many countries in Africa and Asia.

They added at the same time that the group is present with its humanitarian works, as they pointed out, in Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Ecuador, Chile, etc.

Its members promote the message: "Love for all. Hatred for none. " Respondents argued that a fundamental pillar of his group is "no to violence". Their current [worldwide] religious leader is Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad.
