UK: Prime Minister of Tuvalu visits head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in London
The Prime Minister also praised the local Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Tuvalu for its continued efforts towards fostering a peaceful society and working towards the progress of the nation.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad emphasised the need for world peace during the meeting
The Prime Minister of Tuvalu visited the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad at the Fazl Mosque in London on Saturday 11 July 2015.
During the meeting, His Excellency, Prime Minister Enele Sopoaga thanked the Khalifa for his continued efforts towards promoting world peace and for sending a humanitarian relief team to Tuvalu following Cyclone Pam earlier this year.
The Prime Minister also praised the local Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Tuvalu for its continued efforts towards fostering a peaceful society and working towards the progress of the nation.
During the meeting, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said it was paramount that all countries and people worked towards establishing peace in the world. His Holiness said that he considered this to be the most pressing need of the time.
The Prime Minister also informed His Holiness about various domestic matters in Tuvalu, including efforts to improve its education and healthcare systems.
Later, in the meeting the Prime Minister stated that it would be an honour and privilege for his country if His Holiness were ever to visit Tuvalu.
Also in attendance were Tuvalu’s ambassador to Brussels, Sir Iftikhar Ayaz and the Prime Minister’s family.
