Although the fight against the ISIL caliphate is crucial in making sure the Muslim world remains stable, the truth is the Muslim world needs true Islam.

The word Islam is Arabic for submission and through this submission Muslims believe only peace can arrive. Indeed, the ISIS caliphate does not even remotely reflect Islam. However, Muslim leaders across the world are leading the good fight.

This includes political leaders like King Abdullah of Jordan but also spiritual leaders. Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Khalifa or spiritual leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, which has tens of millions of members, is promoting nothing but true Islam. He is beloved by his followers and has went to various bodies of government throughout the world in an effort to promote peace and tolerance.

Interestingly enough, Ahmadiyya Muslims even transliterate the word Khilafat differently than caliphate in part not only because it is a better transliteration but also to draw attention to the fact that unlike the transliteration "caliphate," the original Arabic word in an Islamic context referred to spiritual leadership, not political leadership.

If the Muslim world turns its head towards leaders such as Ahmad, then it can definitely become more peaceful.
