Terrorism Has No Religion

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia has condemned horrific terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan targeting a crowded family-park, killing 70 innocent people, mostly children and women.

The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, Mr I. H. Kausar said:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of horrific terrorist attacks at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in Lahore, Pakistan. We offer deepest condolences to the victims and all affected and pray for the full and speedy recovery of all injured.
Terrorism has no religion. Islam teaches us that every human life is sacred. The Holy Quran teaches us that if someone kills an innocent person it is as if he has killed the whole of humanity.
This barbaric act of targeting a theme park where women and children are gathered on Easter holidays is a cowardly act of terrorism that should be condemned in strongest possible manner.”

Imam Kauser said under the directions of our spiritual leader, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmed, we the Ahmadiyya Muslims in Australia are continuously praying for Pakistan and its people who have been suffering from extremism and terrorism for decades.
