I am an Imam (missionary) of Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Alberta. Our community condemns the attack on members of Canadian military in Toronto. We are deeply troubled to hear about this incident.
True Canadian Muslims are those who look for ways to give something back to this beautiful country.
People who commit violent acts in the name of religion, such as the one that occurred in Toronto, most certainly do not follow the teachings of Islam. The Ahmadiyya Muslim community prays for swift justice and the rapid recovery of those wounded in this hateful crime. As a Canadian Muslim, I also pray for betterment and success of this country and its citizens.
