USA: Ahmadiyya Muslims Stand for Peace | Imam Shamshad A Nasir

"Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Stands for peace," said imam Shamshad 

Imam Shamshad A Nasir Regional Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Glen Ellyn was invited to the Turkish American Society (TAS) of Chicago area located at 1415 Hill Ave., Wheaton, Illinois, on 27th of April, in a faith-based meeting where about over a dozen prominent area religious leader were present.

In introduction several leaders explained their congregation's involvement in projects for the betterment of the people of Glen Ellyn.

Director of Turkish American Society Mr Atilla Ayhan and Mr Haneefi explained how they are trying to help Turkish people and others citizens who come to the United States. They showed a video on the subject and Ms Valencia A. Breckinridge explained that she is working for "Feed My Starving Children" 
Pastor George Smith, Rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church moderated the meeting. 

In his comments Imam Shamshad A. Nasir said: "We are greatly concerned about Peace; peace at home between husband and wife, peace with Mother and Father, peace with children, peace with family, peace with neighbors, peace in the country."

Imam said that religion of Islam does not allow any body to waist even a single drop of water or waist any amount of food, then how it will permit to shed the blood of the innocents. 

"The life of each human is sacred in Islam," Imam added. 

Imam also invited the participants to the mosque for next meeting which will take place with the editor of Review of Religion and his team from UK, on 30th April, 6:00 pm.

The participants thanked TAS for providing traditional and delicious food (lunch) for all.
