Canada: Ahmadiyya women host Qur’an exhibition in Mississauga
The event will include speeches on topics such as stereotypes about Islam, Shariah law, jihad, hijab, freedom of speech and the role and equal rights of women in the religion.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association is inviting members of the community to its upcoming event, which is aimed at removing misconceptions about religion.
The Holy Qur’an exhibition will take place on Saturday, May 14 from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m. at Mississauga’s South Common Mall Community Centre’s program room (2233 South Millway).
Members of the Ahmadiyya women’s association will on location to answer religious questions.
Different translations of the Qur'an will be displayed. Participants can also obtain an English copy as a gift.
The event will include speeches on topics such as stereotypes about Islam, Shariah law, jihad, hijab, freedom of speech and the role and equal rights of women in the religion.
The event is part of the community’s ‘Jesuis Hijabi campaign’ that was launched in December to remove misconceptions and create an understanding for open dialogue across the country.
