UK: Ahmadi Muslim women organize joint Christian/Muslim Prayer for Peace in Jesmond


The event started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an (Ch 3: V 24-50) which signifies Mary’s exalted position by mentioning that she was above all women of the time.

Women of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, Newcastle, participated in the joint Christian/Muslim prayer.

Shafia Saeed from Ahmadiyya Muslim Association started the event with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an (Ch 3: V 24-50) which signifies Mary’s exalted position by mentioning that she was above all women of the time.

The event held on May 14th, was organized at St. Mary's Chapel, Reid Park Road, Jesmond, Newcastle.
