USA: Ahmadiyya Muslim community Georgia plans prayer service on Saturday for Orlando


The program will end with Iftar (the evening meal that breaks the Ramadan fast) at 8:52 p.m., followed by salat (or prayers).

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Georgia plans to hold a prayer service for the victims and their families of the Orlando mass shooting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The service, which is open to the public, will be held at the Baitul Ata Mosque, 1800 Willow Trail Parkway in Norcross.

Hazeem Phudiapura, president of the state chapter, will discuss the teachings of Islam.

The program will end with Iftar (the evening meal that breaks the Ramadan fast) at 8:52 p.m., followed by salat (or prayers).
