It is with great sadness that I have to inform that respected elder Mohammad Shaffiulla of Bangalore has passed away at the age of 83 in Bangalore India on the 18th of August 2016. "We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return".
Late Shaffiulla was the grandson of honorable Moosa Raza (The 1st Ahmadi Muslim of Bangalore).
Mr. Shaffiulla had served the Jamaat in various positions and was the Amir of the states of Karnataka and Goa (South India) for a very long period of 30 years. Remarkably, he was also known for being one of the tallest leaders of the Jamaat in the entire South India.
With his humanitarian and philanthropic efforts, he had untiringly rendered services for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at and for the humanity at large. He was a God-fearing person and adhered to the system of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya all his life.
May Allah give him Peace and grant him elevated status in the hereafter. May Allah also give patience to his near and dear ones. Ameen.
Wasalaam,
Shahid Badruddin
