UK: Islam Ahmadiyya gained 584,000 new converts, 300 new mosques last year -- Annual Progress Report


The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community added 299 new mosques to its count which included 120 new constructions and the rest of the structures were either pre-built or came with mass conversions.

Over 584,000 souls have joined the folds of Islam Ahmadiyya during the last year and the Ahmadiyya Muslin Community was formally established in two more countries, with the new count now standing at 209 countries and territories on the world map.

The progress of the community was presented on the 2nd day of the 50th Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention in Alton, UK, where over 35,000 delegates are in attendance this weekend making this event the largest Muslim convention in Europe.

The Khalifa of Islam and the spiritual head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat (His Holiness) Mirza Masroor Ahmad, addressed the convention in the afternoon session, informing the community about the exceptional successes experienced during the previous year.

His Holiness announced that Paraguay and Cayman Island have joined the long list of nations where Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is now formally established, bringing the current total number of countries or independent jurisdictions to 209.

Hazrat Ahmad said that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community established 721 new branches, 2594 new missions, and 450 propagation centers during the previous year and the Ahmadiyya was introduced in 964 new regions.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community added 299 new mosques to its count which included 120 new constructions and the rest of the structures were either pre-built or came with mass conversions.

Message of Islam-Ahmadiyya reached 964 new locations worldwide and over 11.1 millions pieces of literature, pamphlets, and books in 58 languages were distributed worldwide.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community operates a 24/7 worldwide television network, 21 radio stations and web streaming services reaching the entire world via the Internet.

Muslim Televisions Ahmadiyya broadcasts are being transmitted by several national broadcasters, specifically in African countries, reaching hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
