Canada: Ahmadiyya Muslim leader to address faithful in Saskatoon today


The Caliph has already met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on this trip to Canada, and will visit hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims and government officials during his visit to Saskatoon.

Caliph Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad touring western Canada this month

The spiritual leader of a Muslim sect with tens of millions of followers is in Saskatoon today.

Caliph Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad is currently on a tour of western Canada, visiting followers of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at.

The Ahmadiyya movement was formed in India in the 19th century and now has between 10 to 20 million followers worldwide.

The Caliph has already met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on this trip to Canada, and will visit hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims and government officials during his visit to Saskatoon.

His visit is meant to promote peace and inter-religious harmony.

He is expected to visit Regina later this week.
