UK: Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth in Keighley Fundraise for Poppy Appeal

Young Muslims from Keighley were out in force last weekend helping to raise hundreds more pounds for the Poppy Appeal.

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association Keighley (AMYA) were based at Morrisons Supermarket.

Dr Adeem Rubani, Youth Leader of AMYA Keighley said: “The Holy Prophet of Islam, Muhammad – peace be upon him – said that to love one's country is part of your faith. This is true Islam.

"As Muslims it's our responsibility to show loyalty to our country of residence and to work for the betterment of our country.

“The response from the locals in Keighley to this year's Poppy Appeal has been once again amazing, with many digging deep to support the appeal.”
