India: Ahmadiyya Flag Raised as 122nd Annual Convention Commences in Qadian
Maulana Jalal Uddin advised the Jalsa Salana participants to remain engrossed in the remembrance of Allah, invocation of droud on the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him).

Qadian: 122nd International Jalsa Salana commenced here in Qadian as at 10:00 AM sharp, Maulana Jalal Uddin Nayyar, President, Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian, hoisted the Ahmadiyya Flag, “Liwae Ahmadiyyat”, at in the Ahmadiyya Ground.
Maulana Jalal Uddin Nayyar is representing the Ahmadiyya world leader, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad.
As the flag was being raised, Jalsa Salana participants raised slogans, “ Islam Zinadabad and Ahmadiat Zindabad”. After the flag hoisting ceremony Maulana Nayyar raised his hand and led thousands of Ahmadis in silent prayers.
The inauguration session began with the recitation of the Holy Quraan.
Maulana Jalal Uddin addressed the Jalsa Salana participants, reiterating the primary purpose of the convention as stated by the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad that 'This is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits.”

Maulana Zahir Ahmad Khadim also delivered a lecture on the topic of “The Existence of God”.
Tarique Ahmad Khan, spokesperson of the 122nd Jalsa Salana said that thousands of guests have reached Qadian to attend the congregation.
The supreme head of the community His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, will address the congregation live from London on 28th December around 4:00 PM via a satellite link.
Thousands of Ahmadi Muslim women are also participating in the Jalsa Salana Qadian near Ahmadiyya Ground.
