Sadeya and David Callaghan from Preston Jamaat, UK, were guests on a live Radio Lancashire show to talk about what Muslims do at Christmas.
Questions asked included ‘How do you celebrate Christmas, if at all?’ ‘What do you do on Christmas day’ ‘The importance of Jesus(as) and mother Mary in Islam?’ ‘What it's like for a Christian convert to Islam who no longer celebrates Christmas? Do you feel left out?’
The show invited people from different faiths to explain what they do at Christmas time. As most people in the UK do celebrate Christmas, it was interesting to see what people from non-Christian backgrounds do during the festive holiday.
Sadeya and David showed much appreciation to the hosts Brett Davison and Sally Naden for inviting them on the show. They said that inviting people from different faiths onto the show to talk about Christmas was a wonderful idea.
The couple had been on the radio show previously when they featured in a one-hour documentary looking at a Muslim family close up.
