Dr. Mohammed Qureshi to offer opening prayer in CT State Capitol's Senate Chamber before Electors cast votes for next U.S. President.
CT Secretary of the State invited the President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community CT Baitul Aman "House of Peace" Mosque Meriden to present the opening invocation at the Quadrennial Electoral College Ceremony.
In another historic occasion for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Dr. Mohammed Qureshi will offer a prayer for our great nation united under God before the electors give their ballots for the next President of the United States of America.
Earlier this year, Dr. Qureshi attended President Obama's final State of the Union address as Rep. Joe Courtney's guest.
