BÖBLINGEN (red). At the end of April the third Ahmadiyya Charity Walk took place in Böblingen. Majlis Ansarullah, a sub-organization of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, has organized the charity. Patron and Lord Mayor Wolfgang Lützner, together with Mubasher Ahmed, Chairman of the Majlis Ansarullah Böblingen, were pleased with the transfer of the collected donations.
A donation of 640 euros went to the sports association Böblingen (SVB) for "Swimming, I learnt it!". Together with the Bürgerstiftung and the Social Foundation of the Kreissparkasse Böblingen, the project offers swimming lessons for Böblinger primary school students, thus providing the necessary basic knowledge: How do I move safely in the water? The aim is to significantly reduce the number of children who can not swim, and thus the risks of fatal swimming accidents. The proceeds should increase the number of courses and available places.
