The Ahmadiyya Mulim Community is now spread across 210 countries and territories of the world with Honduras as a new entry in the community.

The progress and improvements of the past year were presented by the Khalifa of Islam and the worldwide spiritual head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hadhrat Mirzā Masroor Ahmad.

His Holiness was addressing a gathering of over 35,000 delegates on the second day of the UK's 51st Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention, convened at Hadeeqatul Mahdi in the English countryside near Hampshire.

Individual Ahmadi Muslims, community representatives and many government officials from dozens of countries have traveled to the UK to join the international convention from all over the world.

His Holiness, Hadhrat Ahmad, detailed the expansion of the community in every aspect of progress, including the joining of over 609,000 souls to the peaceful Ahmadiyya Islam.

During the last three decades - since 1984 when Ahmadi activities were banned in Pakistan - the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has expanded to 119 more countries.

The community added 417 new mosques worldwide during the year which include 115 locations newly added by the community and the rest of the locations came to the community due to the mass conversions in the localities where the mosques were situated.

His Holiness announced that there were 885 new chapters established during the preceding twelve months and 131 new mission houses were added, bringing the total to nearly 2607 mission houses worldwide.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has already completed and published the Holy Quran translations in 75 major languages of the world and there are over a dozen more translation in various near-completion stages.
