Germany: Right-wing vandals deface Ahmadiyya Mosque in Husum


Among other things, the perpetrators sprayed a Hakenkreuz (swastika) and Nazi slogans on the windows. The state protection has been determined necessary for the location.

Unknown people smeared the front of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Mosque building in Husum, a maritime town in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein.

The attack took place during the night on Wednesday.

The vandals had left radical-right references, the police reported on Thursday.

Among other things, the perpetrators sprayed a Hakenkreuz (swastika) and Nazi slogans on the windows. The state protection has been determined necessary for the location.

The officials are looking for witnesses.
