India: Ahmadiyya delegation from Mangalore attends police dept. organized event to promote peace


The Ahmadiyya delegation presented Jamaat literature to T. R. Suresh, Commissioner of Police and K M Shantharaju, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Mangalore.

Mangalore Police Commissioner Office organized an event to build a public relationship with police department and also to promote peace in local society.

It was held on 25th July 2017 at 5pm in Rozario Cultural Hall, Mangalore.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Mangalore chapter representative were also invited for this event.

A team of 9 members, headed by Local Ahmadiyya Muslim Chapter President Muhammad Yusuf, joined by Ahmadiyya Imam, Molvi Asif Ahmad Khadim; elders wing (Majlis Ansarullah) president, B.S. Abdurrahim; and the youth wing (Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya) leader, M. Abdus Salam attended the event.

The Ahmadiyya delegation presented Jamaat literature to T. R. Suresh, Commissioner of Police and K M Shantharaju, Deputy Commissioner of Police of Mangalore.

During this event, member had the opportunity to meet other religious leaders including priests of 2 different churches Fr. James D'Souza from St. Vincent Ferrar Church and Fr. J. B. Crasta from Rosario Church. Jamaat literatures was presented to both of them.
