Sri Lanka: Quran Sinhala Translation gifted to Minister Nimal Sripala de Silva


Minister was also presented the Sinhala Translation of the book: ‘World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace and copy of Peace Message. The relevant Ministry had arranged to take photographs of the event.

The delegation also visited few libraries in Colombo City

A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Moulavi K.M. Munir  visited Ministry  of Transport and Civil Aviation  in Colombo to gift Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to Honorable Minister Nimal Sripala de Silva yesterday (24 November 2017).

This was an appointment by the Ministry and the Jama’at delegation had the opportunity to meet the Honorable Minister. As the Parliament proceedings going on, Honorable Minister arranged such a meeting with Jama’at delegation at early hours of the day.

Minister asked who had done this noble task (translating Qur’an into Sinhala Transition) and replied in detail by the delegation.  Minister was told that Holy Qur’an is an open book and open to all – our Motto is: Love For All: Hatred For none.   The delegation pointed out about the unique feature of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and said that this is the only Community in Islam which has Spiritual Leadership established by God and termed as ““ONE COMMUNITY – ONE LEADER’. Minister was also presented the Sinhala Translation of the book: ‘World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace and copy of Peace Message. The relevant Ministry had arranged to take photographs of the event.


The delegation also visited few libraries in Colombo City situated at Kotehena and presented copies of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book: ‘World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace. The copies of Peace Message also given. The librarians expressed their willingness to get more books and magazines from the Jama’at.
