The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia will hold its 33rd ’Jalsa Salana’ (Annual Convention) on 30th March to 1st April 2018, at Australia’s largest mosque, Bait-ul-Huda (House of Guidance), in Western Sydney.
The three-day event will attract more than 3,000 people from across Australia and overseas, providing a unique spiritual experience through scholarly lectures, discussions and special exhibitions.
The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, and Grand, Imam Mr. I. H. Kauser said:
“Our historic Annual Convention is in its 33rd consecutive year and thousands of dignitaries and Ahmadi Muslims will be gathering to gain spirituality, understanding, and to promote peace and unity. It is a unique Community event through which we respond and discuss various questions and controversies that are often associated with Islam. Our doors and our hearts are always open to the public and we wholeheartedly invite all those who seek knowledge and understanding of Islam.”
The event also provides a unique opportunity for people to attend, participate, ask questions, and understand Islam. Along with hundreds of Australians from different walks of life, the convention attracts government officials, lawmakers, diplomats, faith leaders and multiple media outlets.
