Muslims from across the UK have arrived in Dundee for a week-long educational event about Islam.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association and the Ahmadiyya Elders Association have joined together to host the Discover True Islam week.

One of the key events is a peace symposium at the University of Dundee’s Bonar Hall on Sunday.

The theme of the symposium is Fundamentals of Establishing Lasting Peace. It will seek to promote a deeper understanding of Islam and other faiths to inspire a concerted effort for lasting world peace.

Throughout the week, about 40 Muslims from England and Scotland will also hold talks and dinners, with an exhibition running all week at Bonar Hall.
