MAJLIS ANSARULLAH, USA, AN AUXILIARY OF THE AHMADIYYA MUSLIM COMMUNITY HOLDS 28TH ANUAL CONVENTION IN SILVER SPRING, MD.



Silver Spring, MD (Ahmadiyya Times) - The three-day 28th national convention of Majlis Ansarullah, USA commenced at Baitul Rahman Mosque in Silver Spring Maryland.

Majlis Ansarullah is an auxiliary of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslin Community.  The convention will include the inaugural ceremony of the newly built Ansarullah Hall.

President of Majlis Ansarullah,USA, Dr. Wajeeh Bajwa opened the session and welcomed members from various parts of the United States who traveled to Maryland for participation in the convention.

A special message from Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Spiritual Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Community, who resides in London, UK, was conveyed to the members.

“Majlis Ansarullah, being an organization of wise and mature members, has solemn and major responsibilities of devising schemes and methods to help complete mission started by the Promised Messiah.”, the  message sent by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V said.

Imam Daud Hanif, Missionary In-charge and Vice President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the United States addressed the members at the close of the session. The first session of the convention was closed with silent prayers led by Dr. Ahsanullah Zafar, Amir (National President) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the US.

The convention, which is being streamed live on channel 1 at MTAUSA.TV, will conclude on October18th 2009.
