On May 24, 1908, some Hindu ladies came to visit the Promised Messiah, Hadrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani (1835-1908), peace be on him, and requested him to suggest them a prayer. Below is what he told them...:

O the True and the Only God! O the One Who is the Creator and Nourisher of all the creatures, and is aware of their circumstances! Nothing is hidden from You, and every particle is in Your control. You can do whatever You desire to do. Pull us out of a life of wrongdoing and corruption, and show us the straight path. So be it that we become as You desire us to be. Save us from faulty deeds. Faulty deeds are not in our control. We wish that the undesirable habits leave us. You yourself treat them. It is beyond our power to get rid of them. And so be it that by treading on the path which wins your pleasure, we inherit eternal salvation and peace, and no distress come near us. Save us from the adverse effects of our previous faulty acts and provide us the opportunity to carry out pious deeds in the future.
(Malfuzat, May 24, 1908)

Wishing everyone a peaceful and prosperous happy new year.
