March 17th: Move over JI Jane, Jihad Jane would like the spotlight. Authorities arrested American Colleen LaRose, otherwise known as 'JihadJane,' for recruiting fighters to plan attacks against Europe and South Asia. Terrorists specifically chose her due to her American nationality and ability to 'blend in' with the enemy.
The Holy Qur'an clearly condemns this type of behavior: "Whenever they kindle a fire for war, Allah extinguishes it. And they strive to create disorder in the earth, and Allah loves not those who create disorder." (5:65)
In fact, the Qur'an even calls out those who insist they don't mean to create violence: "And when it is said to them: ‘Create not disorder on the earth,’ they say: ‘We are only promoters of peace.’ Beware! it is surely they who create disorder, but they do not perceive it." (2:12-13)
The Prophet Muhammad (sa) went on to say, "A Muslim is one from whose hands and tongue, all others are safe." (Bukhari)
Last but not least, the true and greater Jihad as the Prophet Muhammad (sa) defined, is the struggle to purify oneself from committing evil acts. It is to abstain from sin, suppress anger, destroy the ego, and then replace those evils with goodness and righteousness. The Jihad Prophet Muhammad (sa) taught required every Muslim to be of nothing but peaceful and loving benefit to mankind. The 'Jihad' Colleen LaRose practiced is at best a reflection of her ignorance.
Colleen LaRose disgraces not only Islam, but America. Our nation has no room and no tolerance for such individuals. We hope that her actions do not ultimately lead to any harm in Europe, South Asia, or elsewhere. We also hope that the good people of America recognize that Colleen LaRose represents no one but her own vain desires.

Finally. A Muslim actively condemns the radical whack-jobs who seem to dominate the actions of their own. Muslims must correct the behavior of their own, or the rest of the world will. Now, what are you going to say about RevolutionMuslim? He claims to speak for Muslim ideology.
