... I had the honor of attending the 34th Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention held at International Centre on the Airport Road. I was so impressed with the arrangements right from the volunteers in the parking lot to the ones that seated guests to their seats.

I remember my father S. Kuldev Singh Sandhu speaking very positively about their dedication and organization over 24 years ago when he was invited for the grand opening of Baitul Islam Mosque in his capacity as a President of the Sikh Temple in Toronto. Today I got the chance to see those organizational skills with my own eyes.

I would like to take this moment to congratulate the organizers on the job well done.
I don't think there was any person in the hall that was not touched by the speech by Maulana Mubarak Ahmad Nazir Sahib Ji on loyalty to the country we all call home. I am hoping that if anyone carried one positive thing from the convention then that is loyalty to our country. I am proud to be Canadian and call Canada my home.

In closing, I would like to leave you with a message that was so proudly displayed at the convention, " LOVE FOR ALL - HATRED FOR NONE."
