What’s next in Egypt? Will there be tolerance for minorities? At the beginning of the year, extremists assaulted Coptic Christians at a church in Alexandria, Egypt.
As a Muslim American, I appreciate that my country would not tolerate such a crime against any religious group.
I hope my fellow Muslim youth of Egypt will guarantee the same protections in the new Egypt. What benefit would a popular revolution provide if so-called freedom is gained at the expense of religious tolerance?
