Hundreds of stakeholders including members of the Ahmadiyya Mission in Kenema District have honoured their leader Maulana Mubarak Nazir Ahmad of the Ahmadiyya movement, who was in Kenema recently to meet with the mission members and old students of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary school.

Addressing hundreds of mission members and other stakeholders at the Ahmadiyya Mission house, the founding father of the Mission, Maulana Mubarak Nazir Ahmad said Ahmadiyya movement is here to stay and to serve the people of Sierra Leone.

Maulana Mubarak Nazir Ahmad offered special prayers for the people and the country. He cautioned Sierra Leoneans to have love for one another saying that we are all brothers and sisters and children of God. He said that the people should always remember what they have done on earth, as death is inevitable and that every human being must die.

He expressed satisfaction in the way and manner he was received by the Ahmadiyya Mission in Kenema and the people of the Eastern Region.

Nazir Ahmad showed his happiness to have met with the old students of Joru Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary school, a school he had established 25 years ago before he left Sierra Leone.

He called on all to play a role in the development of the country with reference to one Pa Ismail Koroma of Joru describing him as somebody developmentally oriented.
