USA: American Muslims Jumpstart 'Muslims for Loyalty' Campaign

Ahmadiyya is a reformist, an international movement within Islam. As part of their year long, "Muslims for Loyalty" campaign, members across the country are advertising their anti-war messages on billboards, buses and inside metro stations.

March 23, 2011 - Members of the American-Muslim community want to change the way they're sometimes perceived in the United States. They're taking action with the "Muslims for loyalty" campaign.

Wednesday, Khaled Ata passes out flyers that read, "Muslims for loyalty." He's a volunteer with the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, a group of American Muslims who are trying to debunk the myth that Muslims don't stand for peace and justice.

"We stand against all kinds of terrorism. His teaching is that if someone abuses you, you have to return with mercy and kindness," he says.

Ahmadiyya is a reformist, an international movement within Islam. They'll also hold open faith dialogues at locations around the country.
