All religions have their fair share of extremists, but for the past decade or so the entire Islamic faith has been held hostage by Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda. The Ahmadiyya Muslims Community USA, the oldest American-Muslim organization (here since 1920) is happy that Osama Bin Laden has been brought to justice.

The Connecticut Muslims, from the first ever Mosque built in Meriden and members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will address the public about the death of Osama bin Laden, the notorious perpetrator of 9/11 today, May 3 from 6-9 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom, Hilton Hartford Hotel, 315 Trumbull Street, Hartford.

The public address will be part of an Interfaith Symposium and exhibition on “The Sanctity of Holy Books.” The speakers will be PhD Rabbi, Dr. Seth Reimer of Temple Beth Torah in Wethersfield, Pastor Norm Erlendson of the First Congregation Church in Middletown, and an internationally recognized Imam, Mr. Naseem Mahdi, Vice President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, USA.
