The Ahmadiyya Muslim community returns here tomorrow.
THE AHMADIYYA Muslim community returns to Terrace tomorrow with an afternoon session on Islam and women's rights.
The 90-minute discussion of the subject begins at 3 pm and lasts until 4:30 pm in Room 2002, which is on the lower level of the cafeteria building at Northwest Community College here.
The group usually has a longer night meeting in Terrace, which is one of its stops in an annual tour it takes of the province from its Vancouver base.
This year it has chosen to have an evening session in Kitimat and one in Smithers instead.
In Kitimat, the theme is “Reconciling Existence of Good and Human Suffering” and takes place tomorrow evening beginning at 6 pm at the Mount Elizabeth Theatre.
The same theme was explored last night in Smithers.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim community says one of its functions is to educate the world about Islam.
Its sessions also feature presentations by members of other religious faiths.
