WITI-TV, MILWAUKEE— More than a dozen gather inside a local mosque as part of an inter-faith discussion of Islam ten years after terrorists carried out the deadliest attack on US soil.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community holds these kinds of sessions across the United States. It's a chance to help non-Muslims understand the religion. The group wants people to be tolerant of another person's truth. Part of that truth is sharing a love of religion and country, both described as intertwined with faith.
As part of a national effort members of the mosque are holding a blood drive. The goal is to donate 10,000 unites of blood to help with lifesaving efforts.
For more information on the blood drive, please call 414-617-1749 or email the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community at info@islaminmilwaukee.org.
