QADIAN: Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat has said that the authorities in India should end all forms of extremism in order to progress. Addressing the final day of the three day annual convention on Friday, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that if justice loving Hindus in India harm the interest of minorities in India due to political reasons then this would lead to destruction of peace in the country. This would further lead to disorder and decline in moral values in the society.

Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahamd advised the delegates that they should understand their responsibilities. The entire world is full of strives and it is the Ahmadis, who have to save the world from destruction. He said a large number of Muslims have strayed away from Allah Almighty and all Ahmadis should try and bring all these people close to Allah. He added that all the Ahmadis have believed in the reformer of the age, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be on him) and it is because of this belief that they have to serve humanity. He also said this is the only convention in the entire world where instead listening to the talks of politicians, people gather for purely spiritual reasons in order to strengthen their bond with Allah.

Earlier in the day, Maulana Inam Ghori Sahib, Chief Secretary, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat India, thanked the Central, State governments and several other authorities for making the convention a success. He said that without the unflinching support of the authorities it would have been difficult to organize the Convention.

Significantly, the Convention saw participation from more than 33 countries with more than 5,000 guests from Pakistan alone. It is worthwhile mentioning that this was 120thconvention of the community. Delegates from all across the globe gathered in this small town to attend this spiritual three day convention. The community has been in the forefront to establish peace and harmony in society and works with a motto – ‘Love for All Hatred for None.’ The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat was founded in the year 1889 in Qadian by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be on him) and since its inception the members of the community have spread to more than 200 countries all across the globe.
