New York, USA: Documentary Film | 'A Place in the World' ~ Story of two Ahmadi Muslim Sisters

The film festival will start on Friday at 20 Cooper Sq and apart from "A Place in the World" film, there are other 14 films from all over the world done by young producers.

A graduate student has done a documentary film on the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community with added focus on the plight of Ahmadis and their persecution within Pakistan and now their lives here in the USA.

The film by Mallika Aryal is titled "A Place in the World".

The project began a year ago with Ahmadi youth's cooperation and now the film will be shown this weekend at the NYU film festival.

A Place in the World will be shown from 3:30-4:10pm on February 4, 2011 at at 19 University Place.

A question and answer session will follow.

The project creaters say this will be a great oppertunity for those inyterested in the subjct matter to provide their feedback.
