ROCHESTER HILLS — The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Metro-Detroit is holding an interfaith symposium entitled “Impact of Religion on the Youth - Our Children’s Future” at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The event will be held at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Center, 1730 W. Auburn Road.
The event is open to the public and will feature speakers from various houses of worship in the greater Troy-Rochester Hills area.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the first Muslim organization in America, is heavily involved in interfaith activities throughout the United States.
Ahmadiyya Muslim community was founded as an Islamic revival movement in India in the late 19th century by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in Qadian, Punjab.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is the first American-Muslim organization.
