Baltimore, MD: -- Every year on March 22, World Water Day is celebrated by all United Nations member countries and organizations as a reminder that access to clean drinking water is one of the fundamental human rights.
Humanity First volunteers, donors and supporters came together on March 22, 2012 with a renewed commitment to continue providing access to the source of life, and the corner stone of healthy and prosperous communities to communities around the world.
Nearly one billion people around the world are still without access to clean drinking water. The Water for Life initiative is a major global priority of Humanity First and seeks to address this issue by installing water pumps, wells, and filtration systems in communities around the world. In the past five years, Humanity First has provided safe, clean drinking water to over two million individuals across Asia, Central America, and Africa.
This year, Humanity First USA is making a commitment to provide access to clean drinking water to one million people. We cannot achieve this without your support. With a $1500 donation to Humanity First's Water for Life program, you can help install one hand pump and serve hundreds of people in one village. You may dedicate a well to your loved ones. Any amount will make a difference. Visit http://usa.humanityfirst.org for more information and to make a contribution today.
