The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Canada (AMYA) is hosting a Shari’a Law open house this Saturday (April 7) at the Tillsonburg Public Library from 12 noon until 4 p.m.
The event is titled "Shari'a, The misunderstood Islamic Law" and designed as an information session to promote religious harmony, dispel misconceptions about Islam and most of all to educate people about the Shari'a law and the West.
The AMYA is an auxiliary wing of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (www.alislam.org). It has been established as a non-profit charitable, religious organization in over 200 countries worldwide with 65 chapters throughout Canada.
The AMYA seeks to promote peace, condemn terrorism and dispelling misconceptions about Islam. In the past 14 months members have visited 337,374 houses in over 200 communities throughout Canada, reaching out to an estimated 1,303,941people with the help 2,649 volunteers.
