India: Cabinet Minister Jairam visited Bahishti Maqbra and Masjid Mubarak in Qadian


In six border districts which are Gurdaspur,Amritsar, Tarntaran, Ferozepur,Fazilika and Pathankot under the MNREGA scheme, 1800 km of new roads will be constructed.

QADIAN: Drinking water, sanitation and Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh visited Bahishti Maqbra, Masjid Aqsa and Minaratul Masih here in Qadian on Friday.

Qadian is the International headquarter of Ahmadiyya Muslim community where Promised Messiah of this era was born. On his visit he was welcomed by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. He first visited the Masjid Aqsa and Minaratul Masih. After it he went to Bahishti Maqbra where he saw the Promised Messiah grave. jairam ramesh at qadian

Cabinet Minister told that he was very happy to come to Qadian and would like to visit the place again. Jairam Ramesh told the reporters that the allegation made by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal regarding center’s bias with Punjab was baseless and totally wrong.

He claimed that in the eight years history of UPA government Punjab has got maximum funds in comparison to other states. Central government was providing pure water and sanitation facilities to the Punjab government. In six border districts which are Gurdaspur,Amritsar, Tarntaran, Ferozepur,Fazilika and Pathankot under the MNREGA scheme, 1800 km of new roads will be constructed.

Ramesh mentioned that CAG is auditing the records of state governments. If any state was found guilty then central government will take strong action against them.  On this occasion Sharn Jit Singh Dhillon Cabinet Minister Punjab, Surjit Singh Rakhra Cabinet Minister, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa MLA, Ashwani Sekhri MLA, Partap Singh Bajwa MP were present.
