A GROUP of Nottingham Muslims completed a 10km charity run to raise money to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) from Nottingham joined hundreds of other young British Muslims from across the country in the event at the Tower of London on May 13.
It is expect the run will help raise around £250,000.
This year's event was attended by a number of leading UK figures, including London Mayor Boris Johnson.
Atif Mehood, AMYA youth leader in Nottingham, said: "'Her Majesty the Queen has been an exceptional role model for 60 years. It is our honour to to host this event in the heart of London to help commemorate her reign."
