A Mosque in Manchester has taken part in celebrations to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The Darul Aman Mosque in Hulme hosted a gathering organsised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association as a tribute to the monarchy.
Decorative lighting and flags were draped across the building, and a large banner congratulating Queen Elizabeth II was raised.
Spokesman Dr Imran Kahn told the BBC: "We want to promote Islam's teaching of being patriotic to the country you live in."
Elsewhere, a World War II-themed celebration was held at several of Manchester's railway station in honour of the Jubilee.
Battle re-enactments were held at Bury Bolton Street, Heywood, and Ramsbottom stations, along with live music, military processions, and other activities.
Today (4th June), a Jubilee beacon will be lit at Manchester Cathedral to caps of the weekend's celebrations in the region.
