India: Complete shutdown in Qadian against insulting shivlinga


Shiv Sena (Bal Thakray) senior leader Ramesh Nayar and some other Hindu religious bodies gave Qadian Bandh today in protest of insulting shivlinga.

QUADIAN: Today Qadian was in complete shutdown [bandh] to protest against insulting Shivling by Laxman Jhonson in Maharashtra.

Shiv Sena (Bal Thakray) senior leader Ramesh Nayar and some other Hindu religious bodies gave Qadian Bandh today in protest of insulting shivlinga.

A group of Hindu organizations came together in Parbhakar chowk and raised slogan against Laxman Jhonson.

Local BJP president Kamal Jyoti said it is not tolerable act which Laxman Jhonson has commited by putting his feet on Shivlinga.

Today all shops, restaurants, Dairy farms and hotels were completely closed down.

Ahmadiyya Muslim community also closed their offices and all educational institutes here in Qadian were also closed.
