Indonesia: SBY and Myanmar Rohingya

As a President you should uphold Pancasila where the first Sila states: To believe in one’s God. Do not forget that we have many religions in Indonesia. Our first president Sukarno and Mohamad Hatta did their utmost to uphold Pancasila and succeeded but you have failed to do so.

It is, of course, noble of President Yudhoyono to support the Rohingya of Myanmar. I, however, would like to point out that SBY should sort out religious problems in his own backyard first before meddling in religious affairs which are not his own.

Sort out your own backyard, SBY. The Ahmadiyah in Indonesia are still being persecuted and harassed. Christian clergy and worshippers are still being harassed and attacked.

Let Myanmar sort out their own religious problems; do not meddle in religious affairs that are not yours. SBY, you have never been able to protect the Ahmadiyah and Christians here in Indonesia.

As a President you should uphold Pancasila where the first Sila states: To believe in one’s God. Do not forget that we have many religions in Indonesia. Our first president Sukarno and Mohamad Hatta did their utmost to uphold Pancasila and succeeded but you have failed to do so.
