The Ahmadiyya Mulim Community is now spread across 202 countries of the world with 2443 formal and permanent missions.
The report card – dubbed by the organizers as ‘Bounties of God’ - was presented by the worldwide spiritual head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Khalifa of Islam, His Holiness, Hadhrat Mirzā Masroor Ahmad.
His Holiness was addressing a crowd of 30,000 gathered to participate in the 46th Ahmadiyya Muslim Annual Convention at Hadeeqatul Mahdi in the English countryside near Alton, UK.
Individual Ahmadi Muslims, community delegates and many governments’ representatives have traveled to the UK International Annual Convention from all over the world.
On this second day of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Convention, His Holiness, Hadhrat Ahmad, detailed the expansion of the community in just about every facet of progress, including the joining of 512,352 souls to the peaceful Ahmadiyya Islam.
Hadhrat Ahmad said that during the last 28 years - since 1984 when Ahmadi activities were banned in Pakistan - the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has expanded to 111 more countries.
The community added 338 new mosques worldwide during the year which include 119 locations newly added by the community and 219 locations that came to the community due to the mass conversions in the localities where the mosques were situated.
Over 2 million new books and booklets were published in 45 languages this year, His Holiness stated.
His Holiness announced that with an addition of 117 centers in 108 countries during the preceding twelve months, the community’s total number of mission houses have now increased to 2,443.
According to the records, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has already completed and published the Holy Quran translations in over 70 major languages of the world and there are currently 15 more translation in various near-completion stages.
Some 900,000 lost converts have been traced and contacted, the Ahmadiyya Mulsim leader announced.
Citing testimonials, His Holiness said new people converted to Ahmadiyya Islam in many regions after being disappointed by the attitudes promoted by non-Ahmadi clerics, offering no help in areas where Muslims suffer hardships.
Millions of people worldwide received Ahmadiyya message of Muslims for Peace through knocking on doors and electronic and moving billboards in North America; and millions more in Europe, Australia and Africa received the message that Islam stands for loyalty to one's homeland.
Just in Germany, 3,000,000 flyers have been distributed.
The convention proceedings are being broadcast live from Hadeeqatul Mahdi (Alton, UK) via the worldwide Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International and available via 28 different Internet video streams
