India: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat and Sikh religious organizations held joint press conference


In a recent development police summoned a local RSS leader and questioned him for creating communal tension between the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat and Sikh community. This leader met Sikh hardliner and mislead them that some books of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat hurts the sentiments of Sikh community.

QUADIAN: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat and sikh religious organization today held joint press conference in Batala. Damdami taksal leader Amrik Singh, Shri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee president Balbir Singh,Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat secretary Mohammad Nasim Khan,Chaudhry Abdul Wasay deputy secretary and Mohammad Akram Gujrati were in the press conference.

Both community leaders demanded to Punjab government and local administration to find the accused who tried to create communal tension between Ahmadiyya and Sikhs community. Amrik Singh Damdami Taksal and Balbir Singh Satkar committee said this heinous act was done by those elements who are against unity, peace and brotherhood. Mohammad Nasim Khan said Ahmadiyya Jamat want its high level inquiry on sacrilegious post on Facebook which hurt the Ahmadiyya Jamat and Sikh Community sentiments  On the other side SSP Batala told this reporter we are investigating this incident and will be successful to trace the accused.

When police approached Sikh leaders then they disclosed the RSS leader name to police. After then Ahmadiyya community approached Sikh organization and clarified that there are no such kind of books. They also proved it that Ahmadiyya Community respect their all Gurus. Now all Sikh organizations are behind with Ahmadiyya community.
