USA: SoCal Blood drive results in 24 donations, Indiana scheduled for monday


The nationwide efforts are going strong this year, with a goal to collect 12,000 units of blood which translates to 36,000 lives saved. To this effect, the units of blood collected on Sept. 11 at the Chino-base mosque will help save 72 lives.

Baitul Hameed Mosque collected 24 units of blood on Patriot Day as a part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA annual “Muslims for Life” blood drive campaign between Aug. 11 and Oct. 11.

The nationwide efforts are going strong this year, with a goal to collect 12,000 units of blood which translates to 36,000 lives saved.

To this effect, the units of blood collected on Sept. 11 at the Chino-base mosque will help save 72 lives.

Ahmadiyya Muslim group Indiana hosting blood drive

As part of a national initiative, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Indiana has organized a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of Stewart Center, 128 Memorial Mall in West Lafayette.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is organizing the third annual nationwide “Muslims for Life” blood drives, which run this year Aug. 11 to Oct. 11.

This two-month interfaith campaign honors the victims of 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombing.
