Japan: Khalifa of Islam arrives in Tokyo


The Khalīfa will deliver the next Friday sermon in Nagoya and lead the Friday midday prayers which will be telecast live around the globe.

The Khalīfa of Islām and the worldwide head of the Ahmadiyy Muslim Community, Hazrat (His Holiness) Mirzā Masroor Ahmad arrived in Tokyo yesterday from Auckland, New Zealand.

Hazrat Ahmad traveled to the Headquarter of  Ahmadiyya Muslim community Japan which is located in Nagoya city, about 350 KM South of Tokyo.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was established in 1935 in Japan.

This is the second trip for His Holiness Ahmad to visit the Ahmadiyya Muslim members in Japan. Previously His Holiness visited Japan in 2006.

The Khalīfa will deliver the next Friday sermon in Nagoya and lead the Friday midday prayers which will be telecast live around the globe.

Reportedly, over 100 million adherents of the Ahmadiyya Islām in 204 countries of the world will tune in to watch His Holiness and listen to the Friday Sermon.

His Holiness will also deliver the keynote address at a Special Reception later this week.
